7 DAY MACHAME ROUTE KILIMANJARO PRICE 2026

Your Dream Climb Starts Here

Overview

The Machame Route, famously known as the “Whiskey Route,” is one of the most iconic trails on Mount Kilimanjaro. Renowned for its stunning scenery and diverse landscapes, it remains one of the most popular routes for climbers aiming to reach the summit. At Chami Adventures, we organize numerous successful Kilimanjaro expeditions every year along this scenic route, which begins in a lush tropical rainforest. The Machame Route is available in both 6 day and 7 day options, with the 7 day itinerary offering a significantly better acclimatization profile and a higher summit success rate. The 7 Days Machame Route is an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced trekkers. Along the journey, climbers pass through all five climatic zones of Kilimanjaro from dense rainforest to alpine desert and finally arctic conditions at the summit. Highlights include conquering the famous Barranco Wall and witnessing the extraordinary Dendrosenecio kilimanjaria unique, otherworldly plant found only on Kilimanjaro. Safety First: At Chami Adventures, your safety is our top priority. To maintain high safety standards, our mountain expeditions are available only to participants aged 12 to 70 years.

A well-presented driver will be at Kilimanjaro International Airport for pick up and followed by a one-hour drive to your hotel/lodge in Moshi town. Your guide will be coming at your place where you stay for pre-climb briefing and gear check.
